The newly reconstituted Keever Creek HOA board meet last night. We had a good meeting and set out our plans for the next 4 months in preparation for the All Residents meeting in February. The updated board member list is below. Please keep in mind these are temporary appointments until the next All Residents meeting, where 3 board positions (edit 1/5/20: 2 board positions) will be open for election by those present.
President: Brian Stansell
Treasurer: Kevin Murphy
Trustee-at-Large: John Murphy
Trustee-at-Large: John Butler
Trustee-at-Large: Jacques Illanz
Moving forward, the board meetings will be posted in advance on the HOA calendar. If any resident has a pressing issue, or wishes to attend, please let the board know so we can set aside time during the meeting for you.
After getting an e-mail from a concerned homeowner, we reached out to Cristo homes and talked with Kelley McCray. The conversation was about the appearance of the house and property at 210 Eli’s Pass. The picture in the email from the homeowner showed it very overgrown with tall weeds and grass, big bar patch in the middle of the lawn and a big mound of dirt at the corner near the road. Kelley assured us that the tall grass and weeds would be trimmed, but to give her 5 business days before calling back. The trimming was done on Friday of that week. We are planning on giving her a call tomorrow, Tuesday September 17th to discuss the rest of the issues - mainly the grading.
Good afternoon Keever residents. Over the weekend, the HOA received the email resignations of three trustees: our Vice President, Secretary, and Trustee-at-Large. Each resignation wished the board and community the best as they desired to re-focus their energies on their work and families. These resignations were received with no prior warning, discussion, or explanation to other board members. Moving forward, the trustee vacancies will be filled according to Article V Section 5 of the resident approved by-laws.
The HOA trustees have always operated as a team built on consensus. Since its creation 8 months ago we have all worked together, and any decision made was made together and never in a vacuum. Great pains have always been taken to ensure each voice and opinion was heard and counted. Every architectural application which has been approved or denied has been in accordance with established CCR’s, and been reviewed and agreed upon by the board as a whole, never a single individual.
The remaining board members ask for patience as we handle the unexpected balance of the HOA business.
